SGB Injection
Stellate Ganglion Block, or SGB, is a procedure that will help diminish the affects of PTSD such as depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, dreams. It will NOT cure PTSD but it will help make life more bearable and tolerable. It will help give you back some of the life you lost before you were traumatized. There have been numerous Veterans from our local area receive this procedure with overwhelmingly positive results. This procedure is not covered by insurance or the VA at this time, however, Silent Watch will cover the cost for any Veteran or First Responder as long as funds are available. STRIVE (The Suicide and Trauma Reduction Initiative for Veterans) at Ohio State University
STRIVE is working with Veterans with PTSD and other issues to help them recover their life. They have platforms that the Veteran can do to help them with their troubles. Please check them out at their website. They also help with the SGB treatment after the Veteran completes the first level.
